Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

So I wanted to draw some different breeds of dogs, since they are so varied and have such great personalities. My first is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, one of my favorite dog breeds. I did a total of four sketches, but only had enough time to finish one- I will probably upload the others later. Technique wise I just fooled around with texture and brushes.

I think I may feature these in Art Market.

  3. Haha, I hope (and assume) by effortless you mean a good effortless! :D I was trying to be loose- my huge issue is getting too tight with my work, so I've been attempting to break the habit.

Why thank you anonymous poster. :) And you're a lucky person- Corgis are awesome.

  4. Yep, I do mean in a good way. :] I know what you mean about being too tight! I have issues with that too. I'm definitely making it my goal to loosen up this school year as well. I think you're off to a good start!

  5. Thanks Steph! I'm sure we will both get this laid-back drawing approach down eventually.
